Down to 264.0 now, total pounds lost 14 pounds. I have made a standard breakfast of an egg on and English muffin and a banana as my morning meal. It is a great change from a waffle or other carbohydrate only meal. It is proof that eating more (but healthier) can and does help you lose weight.

I am down a total of 12 pounds now! 

I have increased my vegetable intake, trying to drink more water, and finding ways to get moving at home. Dancing with my girls is a great way to get some exercise in. 

Health and Fitness

For years I have struggled with my weight. I always bounced around, but never went above a certain point. That is, until last year. Last year I gained 70 pounds. I was already overweight and to add to it really did a number on my body. 

I tried to fight the financial battle along with the physical battle at the same time. All it did was overwhelm me and make me very depressed. So I decided to focus on my financial life first. It is still a work in progress, but I have found balance in my financial life. It is time to find balance in my physical life.

I will be working with baby goals. Ten pound increments, for a total of 100 pounds lost. I have a great group of ladies that are supporting me along the way and I welcome you along the journey as well. I will write about what is working for me and what isn't. 

To start I will be using MyFitnessPal to help me log my food intake and exercise. I need to get back into the gym and fine tune my diet. This is the year of ME! I will not have another year where I put me on the back burner. If I don't start now, there won't be any me around for my kids. Plain and simple.
